Telesales Representative

Department: Sales

Purpose of the Role

The Telesales Representative is responsible for generating sales through inbound and outbound telephone communication by promoting KAPICO SA's aftermarket automotive product range. The incumbent will build strong customer relationships, provide product information, prepare quotations, process orders accurately, and achieve monthly sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound sales calls to existing and prospective customers.
• Receive and process inbound customer enquiries.
• Promote and sell KAPICO SA's aftermarket automotive products.
• Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable products.
• Prepare accurate quotations and convert them into sales.
• Process customer orders efficiently and accurately.
• Check stock availability and communicate delivery timelines.
• Follow up on quotations, back orders, and customer enquiries.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Achieve monthly sales and gross profit targets.
• Maintain accurate customer records in the ERP system.
• Cross-sell and upsell complementary product ranges.
• Liaise with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Keep informed of product knowledge, pricing, promotions, and competitor activities.

Minimum RequirementsEducation

• Grade 12 (Matric) – Essential.
• Sales or Business-related qualification – Advantageous.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years' experience in telesales, internal sales, or customer service.
• Experience in the automotive aftermarket industry is highly advantageous.
• Experience working with workshops, fitment centres, retailers, or fleet customers will be an advantage.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of aftermarket automotive parts.
• Excellent telephone communication and customer service skills.
• Strong sales and negotiation ability.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
• Experience using ERP or sales order processing systems.
