Temporary Seasonal Sales Assistant V&A LUSH (November to January)

Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic, customer-focused Festive Retail Salesperson for a temporary role during the festive season. The role is on-site and located in V&A Waterfront Lush store. The Salesperson will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, generating sales, merchandising, and maintaining the appearance of the store. The Festive Retail Salesperson will also be responsible for familiarity with Lush's products and working collaboratively with the store team.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales experience, preferably in the beauty or fashion industries.
• Possesses excellent customer service skills and loves to work with people.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Dedicated to ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
• Comfortable working with technology, point-of-sale systems, and other various computer programs.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Seasonal Sales Associate Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the store
• Answer customer questions and provide them with product suggestions
• Help keep sales floor clean and organized
• Replenish floor inventory
• Perform other tasks assigned by shift supervisor
• Follow all company policies and brand standards
• Assist with stock receive and stock counting

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: R31,50 per hour

Expected hours: 27.0 – 45.0 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
