Job description
The Tender Administrator will be responsible for managing the end-to-end tender
process, from identifying tender opportunities to preparing, compiling, and submitting
tender documents. This includes ensuring that all submissions comply with client
specifications, company standards, and submission deadlines. The successful
candidate will maintain accurate records, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and
support the company's business development objectives through high-quality tender
submissions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify and monitor tender opportunities from various platforms.
- Coordinate the preparation and submission of tender documents.
- Ensure all tender submissions comply with client specifications and deadlines.
- Compile required supporting documentation, including company profiles,
compliance certificates, and pricing schedules.
- Liaise with internal departments to obtain the information required for tender
submissions.
- Review tender documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Maintain an organised tender database and filing system.
- Track submitted tenders and communicate outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist with contract documentation and post-award administrative
requirements.
- Ensure all company registration documents and compliance certificates remain
current.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management,
Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in tender administration or bid coordination.
- Knowledge of public and private sector tender processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Valid driver's licence will be advantageous.
