Theatre Scrub Nurse – Klerksdorp (3-Month Contract, Permanent Opportunity)

Ambition 24Hours has secured an exclusive opportunity at a leading private hospital in Klerksdorp, North West. We’re looking for trained, experienced Theatre Scrub Nurses who want stable work and a clear path to a permanent position.

This isn’t ad-hoc shift work. We’ve negotiated a 3-month contract with guaranteed hours. If you perform well over those 3 months, the hospital has the option to appoint you permanently.

The offer

• 3-month contract with guaranteed hours — the hospital commits to a set number of hours for the full three months, not ad-hoc shifts
• Option to go permanent at the hospital after a successful 3 months
• Start date: as soon as possible
• An established private theatre complex with a strong team behind you

What we need from you

• Registered Nurse with current SANC registration
• At least 2 years’ scrub experience
• Experience in a mixed theatre complex covering general, orthopaedic, gynae/obs (including C-sections), laparoscopic, urology and ENT — you’ll need to scrub across most of these and be comfortable with emergencies
• Fluent Afrikaans, spoken and written, is an essential requirement. The surgical teams and patients communicate in Afrikaans and clear communication in theatre is a patient-safety issue
• Current BLS/ACLS, an up-to-date CV and contactable theatre references
• Based in or willing to relocate to Klerksdorp at your own cost. No relocation package is offered
