Tiller

AAH Construction is seeking a skilled and reliable Tiler to join our construction and maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining floor and wall tiles in residential, commercial, and building maintenance projects. The candidate must be able to work neatly, follow specifications, and complete work according to required quality and safety standards.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Tiler or in a similar role
• Trade Test Certificate or relevant tiling qualification will be an added advantage
• Experience in construction, building maintenance, repairs, and renovations
• Knowledge of wall tiling, floor tiling, grouting, tile cutting, surface preparation, and finishing
• Ability to measure, cut, align, and lay tiles accurately
• Ability to read and understand basic drawings, measurements, and work instructions
• Must be reliable, punctual, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
• Must follow site health and safety rules at all times

Key Responsibilities

• Install ceramic, porcelain, mosaic, and other types of wall and floor tiles
• Prepare surfaces before tiling, including cleaning, levelling, and applying adhesive
• Measure and cut tiles accurately according to layout and specifications
• Lay tiles neatly and ensure correct spacing, alignment, and finishing
• Apply grout and sealants where required
• Repair, replace, and maintain damaged tiles
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and safe
• Follow instructions from the Site Supervisor or Construction Supervisor
• Assist with other general construction and maintenance duties when required
