Timber Finisher / Glazer

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Skilled Finisher / Glazer to join our busy Timber / Joinery manufacturing team

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality finishing timber on windows and doors.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for finishing (clean, sand, fill imperfections, patch) and select appropriate finishes.
• Apply primer on outer frames and glass rebates.
• Sand down in pin beads around the glass.
• Inspect finished surfaces for defects, perform remedial work.
• Coordinate with the supervisor on project scope and scheduling.
• Ensure that the correct glass specification is used as per job cards.

Essential skills required includes:

• Proven, hands-on experience as a glazer / finisher .
• Strong knowledge of various sanding techniques.
• Ability to read job cards.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid South African ID and contactable references.
• Sober habits required.

Pay: R35,00 - R40,00 per hour

• High School (matric) (Required)
