Contract Position: Immediate Start – 28 February 2027

Super-Brands Retail is seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to join our team on a fixed-term contract to provide maternity leave cover within our Distribution Centre operation.

This role is ideal for a seasoned warehouse professional who enjoys leading teams, driving operational excellence, and ensuring stock moves accurately and efficiently through the supply chain. We would particularly welcome applications from experienced individuals who may have retired from full-time employment but are looking to continue contributing their expertise in a meaningful role.

About the Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Warehouse Manager will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of our Distribution Centre, supporting our national retail store network and ensuring operational standards are maintained throughout the contract period.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Distribution Centre operations.
• Manage and develop warehouse supervisors and warehouse staff.
• Ensure accurate receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of stock.
• Drive stock integrity and inventory accuracy.
• Monitor and manage warehouse productivity and performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs and health & safety requirements.
• Oversee cycle counts and stock control processes.
• Manage store replenishment and inter-branch transfer processes.
• Ensure service levels to stores are achieved consistently.
• Coordinate with Operations, Buying, Marketing and Store teams to support business requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.
• Manage warehouse administration and reporting requirements.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will have:

✔ Proven experience managing a warehouse or distribution centre operation.

✔ Strong leadership and people management skills.

✔ Excellent stock control and inventory management experience.

✔ Experience working within a retail, FMCG or distribution environment.

✔ Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.

✔ Good computer literacy and reporting skills.

✔ A hands-on management style with a willingness to be involved in daily operations.

✔ The ability to work independently and maintain high operational standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Warehouse Management role.
• Relevant logistics, supply chain or warehouse qualification advantageous.
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and stock control processes.
