OVERVIEW:

Assessor & Moderator – Civil Engineering

Thabomeleng Training Institute (TTI) is looking for qualified and registered Civil Engineering Assessors and Moderators to support the delivery and assessment of the Management of Civil Engineering Construction Processes (Qualification ID: 23683, NQF Level 5) programme.

1. CIVIL ENGINEERING ASSESSOR

Minimum Requirements:

* National Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.

* Valid and verifiable CETA registration.

* Registered as an Assessor with the relevant SETA.

* Valid Assessor registration number.

* Completed an accredited Assessor course.

* Relevant industry and/or training experience in Civil Engineering/Construction.

* Knowledge and understanding of outcomes-based assessment principles.

* Ability to conduct assessments professionally and maintain accurate assessment records.

2. CIVIL ENGINEERING MODERATOR

Minimum Requirements:

* National Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.

* Valid and verifiable CETA registration.

* Registered as a Moderator with the relevant SETA.

* Valid Moderator registration number.

* Completed an accredited Moderator course.

* Relevant industry and/or training experience in Civil Engineering/Construction.

* Good understanding of assessment and moderation principles and requirements.

* Ability to review assessment evidence objectively and maintain proper moderation records.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct assessments/moderations in accordance with the relevant qualification and assessment standards.

* Ensure assessment activities comply with SETA and quality assurance requirements.

* Maintain accurate assessment and moderation documentation.

* Provide constructive feedback to learners.

* Participate in assessment/moderation meetings where required.

* Ensure all required portfolios and supporting evidence are properly maintained.

* Work collaboratively with TTI’s academic and administration teams.
