Job description
Overall, Role Objectives
Provides administrative and financial services to be able to ensure that an effective, accurate, administrative, and effective operation is achieved.
Communication Skills
Provide excellent communication to all Customers, Suppliers and Management of Employer
Ensure that all transporters are contacted and kept updated with regards to progress and delivery changes.
Ensure that all relevant and correct documentation is handed to the transporter prior to each upliftment
Ensure the pre-departure and debriefing of transporters for any special requirements of the client.
Respond to telephone calls regarding breakdowns, accidents, and delays.
Liaise with loading and offloading sites with regards to any delays that you may be faced with.
Use personal judgment and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles.
Ensure that Transporters are contacted and kept updated with regards to their progress and delivery changes.
Keep your manager always updated with regards to progress or delays with regards to any deliveries.
Not less than 3 years experience with Import, Exports, MT containers and breakbulk cargo.
Knowledge of Navis and bookings on Navis.
Understanding of the Port. Pier 1 and 2.
Experience with container movement and breakbulk.
Familiar with tracking apps.
Allocation of loads to fleets.
Excellent driver and customer communication.
Customer Service
Working with Customers, planning routes and scheduling delivery and always meeting and exceeding Customers expectations.
Build and maintain relationships with key customers, both internal and external.
All other actions required for successful delivery to clients.
Assist with queries relating to your shipments.
Pay: R7 431,50 - R11 000,00 per month
