Job Description

The Visa Consultant is responsible for providing the client with advice and guidance on how best to obtain required documentation to Travel internationally and how to complete this process smoothly. The Visa Consultant will work within strict timelines and communicate with authorities and the client consistently via email or telephone including client facing. Clients will be treated individually, and the process tailored to suit them. The Visa Consultant will have a strong understanding of border control procedures as well as any related legislation. This will include a knowledge of systems built IT understanding Hello Future Travel Visa Consultant

Are you someone who can:

Oversee all aspects of the Visa Service, ensuring that the process runs smoothly.

  • Interview all clients and deal with all applications face to face and by the telephone to ensure that the Travelers understands the requirements.
  • Oversee the completion of all relevant visa documents and ensure that they are received within the time limit set by the government.
  • Ensure that all of the information provided by the Travelers is accurate and correct, preparing and checking all legal documents.
  • Prepare all fee quotes and any information required by the Travelers.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with all clients and colleagues.
  • Help the client to obtain Visas on arrival for the destinations that provides visas on arrival,
  • Where there are critical engagements during the application, the visa consultant will be present with the applicant at the embassy,
  • Be full responsible for all visa issues and operations, remaining up to date with any changes to legislation.
  • Identify visa system glitches and apply for improvements
  • Train some HR/Mobility staff to enhance their understanding of immigration /visa rules to help them to fulfil their roles to a high level.

You will be an ideal candidate if you have:

A Tourism or Business Administration Diploma

International Relations Qualification Degree

Information security awareness certification

Min 3 years experience in:

  • Visa processing
  • Travel consulting
  • Immigration consulting
  • Travel agency operations
  • Customer service administration
  • Processing visa applications (Schengen, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, etc.)
  • Reviewing supporting documentation
  • Advising clients on visa requirements and eligibility
  • Liaising with embassies, consulates, VFS, TLScontact and visa centres
  • Tracking application status and deadlines
  • Managing high volumes of applications accurately
  • Handling client queries and escalations
