Travelling Parts Sales Representative -VW Divisional Head Office

About the Role

As a Travelling Parts Sales Representative at the VW Divisional Head Office, you will be responsible for promoting and selling automotive parts to dealerships and repair shops across various regions. The primary focus of this role is on building and maintaining client relationships, providing exceptional service, and driving sales growth within your territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities by identifying and targeting potential customers in assigned regions.
• Conduct regular visits to clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions related to automotive parts.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of parts to clients.
• Conduct product presentations and training sessions for clients to enhance their understanding of the parts offered.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and development.
• Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts to track performance against targets.
• Attend industry events and trade shows to promote the brand and expand your network.

Requirements

• Proven track record in sales, preferably within the automotive or related industries.
• Strong understanding of automotive parts and components, with a focus on VW products preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
• Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within South Africa.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in managing accounts and developing sales strategies.
• Knowledge of CRM software and sales tracking tools.
• Relevant qualifications in sales, marketing, or automotive technology.
• Familiarity with the South African automotive market and regulatory environment.
