Treefeller / Groundsman – G2G Services

G2G Services is looking for a hardworking and reliable Treefeller / Groundsman to join our growing team in Cape Town.

Responsibilities:

• Perform safe tree felling, dismantling and pruning operations.
• Trim hedges, palms and other vegetation.
• Operate chainsaws, brush cutters, hedge trimmers and other landscaping equipment.
• Assist with stump removal and site clearance.
• Load, transport and dispose of tree and garden waste.
• Carry out basic landscaping work, including lawn installations and paving assistance when required.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicles.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and wear the required PPE.
• Provide professional and friendly service to clients on site.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in tree felling or landscaping is essential.
• Experience operating chainsaws and other power tools.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's licence is advantageous.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Willing to travel to various job sites across Cape Town.
