Salary: R400,000 – R500,000 CTC - depending on experience Provident fund & Medical Are you a qualified Diesel Mechanic with solid truck workshop experience? We are looking for an experienced Truck Diesel Mechanic to join a well-established CONSTRUCTION , company in the Western Cape. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced workshop and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, reliability, and service.

POSITION INFO: Key Responsibilities: Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on commercial trucks Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults efficiently Perform preventative maintenance to minimise vehicle downtime Conduct inspections and ensure vehicles meet roadworthy and safety standards Attend to breakdowns and field service when required Complete job cards and workshop documentation accurately Maintain workshop tools and equipment in good working order Ensure all work is completed to a high standard while complying with company safety procedures Minimum Requirements: Matric (Grade 12) Qualified Diesel Mechanic (Red Seal Trade Test essential) Minimum 5 years ' post-trade experience working on commercial trucks Strong knowledge of diesel engines, drivetrains, braking systems, suspension, electrical and pneumatic systems Proven diagnostic and fault-finding skills Experience using diagnostic equipment will be advantageous Valid Code B driver's licence (Code EC will be advantageous) Willing to work overtime or attend breakdowns when required
