As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials to various destinations within the country. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials to designated locations
• Plan routes and follow schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and methods
• Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transportation
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Communicate with dispatch and customers to provide updates on delivery status
• Adhere to all traffic and transportation laws and regulations
• Follow company policies and procedures for safe and efficient operations
• Maintain a clean and organized truck and report any issues to management
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver
• Knowledge of South Africa's roadways and transportation regulations
• Ability to operate and maintain various types of trucks and equipment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy objects
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules
