Role Description This full-time remote Truck Driver – Code 14 role involves safely operating heavy-duty trucks to transport goods between designated locations.

Day-to-day tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, following planned routes and schedules, and ensuring timely deliveries. The driver will be responsible for loading and unloading goods as required, maintaining accurate delivery and log records, and adhering to all road safety and regulatory requirements. The role also includes communicating with dispatch or supervisors, reporting any mechanical issues or delays, and maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.

Qualifications

• Strong heavy vehicle operating skills, including Truck Driving and proficient handling of Truck and Code 14-equivalent vehicles.
• Relevant licensing and certifications, such as Code EC (Code 14) license, with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of transport regulations, and commitment to safety and compliance.
• Ability to manage loading and Unloading tasks efficiently while protecting goods and preventing damage.
• Previous experience in long-distance or regional freight transport is beneficial.
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic vehicle maintenance awareness and ability to identify and report mechanical issues.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
