Job description
Truck Diesel Mechanic (Red Seal Qualified) – Benoni / East Rand
We are seeking a qualified Red Seal Qualified Diesel Mechanic with experience working on trucks and commercial vehicles for a company based in the Benoni / East Rand area.
Requirements
- Red Seal Diesel Mechanic qualification
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working on trucks and trailers
- Experience with servicing, maintenance and fault finding
- Knowledge of engines, brakes, gearboxes and electrical systems
- Valid driver’s license advantageous
- Must reside on the East Rand or surrounding areas
Duties
- Conduct servicing and repairs on trucks and commercial vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Complete breakdown repairs and inspections
- Ensure all work is completed according to safety standards
- Maintain tools and workshop equipment
Salary
R15 000 - R20 000 per month depending on experience

Benoni / East Rand, Gauteng
