Job description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Wash and clean trucks, engines and trailers thoroughly
- Detail truck cabs, including dashboards, seats, floors and interior surfaces
- Wash chassis, wheels, rims and exterior components
- Clean and polish truck bodies, tanks, rims and other applicable surfaces
- Ensure trailers are properly washed and kept presentable
- Remove dirt, grease, mud and road grime from vehicles
- Maintain a regular cleaning schedule for the entire fleet
- Inspect trucks after washing to ensure they meet company cleanliness standards
- Keep the truck wash area clean and organised
- Properly maintain and look after pressure washers, hoses, cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Report any visible vehicle damage or defects noticed during cleaning
- Ensure trucks leaving the yard are clean and professionally presented whenever operationally possible
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous truck washing or vehicle detailing experience will be an advantage
- Experience polishing and detailing heavy-duty vehicles is preferred
- Ability to work with pressure washers and cleaning chemicals
- Physically fit and comfortable working around large trucks and trailers
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Willing to work flexible hours when required
- Must take pride in keeping vehicles exceptionally clean
Pay: R8 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
