Responsibilities:
- Attend to trust administration tasks on behalf of trustees in offshore jurisdictions
- Cultivate and manage professional relationship with offshore trustees,
- Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers' expectations through proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions.
- Provides administration, compliance review and operational support to the trustees to enable them to manage the trust in the foreign jurisdiction
- Accurately manage client records and documents
- Prepare trustee resolutions, minutes and other trust related documents per instruction from the trustee
- Co-ordinate trust related distributions, loan repayments, fees and similar per instruction from the trustee
- Assist with preparing and collating documents and information relating to opening, maintenance and review of trust bank accounts and investment accounts per instruction from the trustee
- Support compliance with relevant foreign trust legislation, regulatory requirements and fiduciary obligations
- Assist with client due diligence and ongoing monitoring requirements in line with AML standards
- Monitor and track statutory filing deadlines and reporting obligations in the foreign jurisdiction
- Liaise with compliance teams, external fiduciary service providers and other relevant parties where required
- Assist with gathering information and documents required for regulatory, legislative and internal requirements
- Prepare correspondence for review by trustee
- Support the trustee with proper governance, record-keeping and audit readiness
- Identify and escalate administrative, compliance or operational risks to the trustee
- Ensure adherence to internal policies procedures and service level standards
- Knowledge on relevant offshore jurisdiction trust legislation, relating to trust administration and compliance
Qualifications:
- 2 yrs + trust administration experience, a Fiduciary industry related or Legal qualification would be advantageous
