The Future Is Children is expanding, and we are looking for passionate, patient, and dedicated tutors to join our growing team.

About the Role

As a tutor, you will provide one-on-one academic support to learners of different ages, grades, abilities, and learning styles. Sessions may take place in person or online, depending on the learner's needs.

Our tutors create engaging lessons, build learners' confidence, and adapt their teaching methods to suit each learner's individual pace and learning style.

We are looking for a tutor who is:

  • Patient and able to explain concepts in different ways.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using online teaching platforms.
  • Adaptable and confident working with learners of all ages, grades, and learning styles.

  • Able to create a supportive, encouraging learning environment.

Minimum Requirements

  • Able to tutor all primary school subjects.
  • Able to tutor most high school subjects.
  • Achieved Code 6 (70%) or higher in the subjects you wish to tutor in your NSC (Matric).
  • Must be able to tutor English Home Language learners.
  • The ability to tutor Afrikaans Home Language learners will be an added advantage.
  • Comfortable tutoring both in person and online.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Passionate about working with learners from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised one-on-one tutoring sessions.
  • Assist learners with homework, assignments, projects, and examination preparation.
  • Adapt lessons to suit each learner's academic needs and learning style.
  • Encourage confidence, independence, and academic growth.
  • Maintain professional communication with parents and guardians where required.
  • Create a positive and supportive learning experience for every learner.
