USED VEHICLE SALES MANAGER – BALLITO

Location: Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal
Industry: Automotive Retail

A large, highly successful motor group representing a leading automotive brand is looking for an experienced Used Vehicle Sales Manager to take responsibility for its used vehicle operation in Ballito.

This is a senior, hands-on role requiring someone who understands the used vehicle business from both a sales and buying perspective. We are specifically looking for an individual who is well connected within the motor industry and has established vehicle buying relationships.

Key Requirements & Responsibilities

Proven experience as a Used Vehicle Sales Manager within the franchised motor industry
A strong and consistent track record in used vehicle sales and profitability
Established vehicle buying contacts and relationships, with the ability to source the right stock at the right price
Strong understanding of stock mix, ageing, pricing, margins and profitability
Ability to manage and drive the overall performance of the Used Vehicle Department
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor and develop a sales team
A people-focused management style with good emotional intelligence and empathy
Ability to motivate staff, manage performance and create a positive, results-driven team culture
Excellent customer relationship and interpersonal skills
Strong commercial awareness and sound decision-making ability
Valid driver's licence

This position would suit an experienced Used Vehicle Manager who is well respected and well connected within the industry, understands how to source profitable stock and knows how to get the best out of their people.

Package

A competitive, market-related package will be offered based on experience, together with the normal benefits associated with a large and successful motor group.

Please note: This is not a step-up position. Applicants must have relevant used vehicle management experience, established buying relationships and a demonstrable track record within the motor industry.

Pay: R30 000,00 - R40 000,00 per month
