UX–UI Specialist Web Designer

South African-based company delivering full-spectrum web development and digital marketing services to clients in France and worldwide. We support over 30 international brands across sectors including international removals, relocation, records management, and heritage preservation.

Our web team works closely with graphic designers, developers, SEO specialists, online advertisers, and communications experts to create meaningful, high-performing digital experiences.

What You’ll Do

As a UX–UI Web Designer / Specialist, your primary focus will be designing intuitive, user-centered digital experiences that balance aesthetics, usability, and performance. You will play a key role from concept to execution, translating user needs and business goals into effective interfaces.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading UX/UI design for new and existing websites, from discovery to delivery
• Creating wireframes, user flows, and UI designs that are intuitive, accessible, and conversion-driven
• Designing and revamping websites (WordPress + HTML) with a strong focus on usability and user experience
• Collaborating with developers to ensure UX/UI designs are accurately implemented
• Applying UX best practices, data insights, and SEO principles to improve user journeys and performance
• Designing supporting digital assets such as mailers, newsflashes, and campaign visuals
• Creating GIF and HTML5 banners for digital advertising campaigns
• Updating and managing website content while maintaining design and UX consistency

You’re a UX-first designer who enjoys solving problems through design. You think beyond visuals and care deeply about how users interact with digital products. You’re comfortable working across the full design lifecycle and collaborating closely with technical and marketing teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a UX/UI or web design role
• Strong understanding of UX principles: user journeys, information architecture, usability, and conversion optimisation
• Proven experience designing user-centered interfaces for websites
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (to support and understand implementation)
• Working knowledge of PHP
• Solid WordPress experience (theme customization, plugin integration, best practices)
• Strong command of Photoshop and Illustrator (Figma/Sketch/XD experience is a plus if applicable)
• Understanding of SEO principles and how UX/UI impacts performance
