Varsity Baseball Coach

Duties:

- Organize and direct all activities of a sport
- Works with student athletes to improve personal and teamwork skills
- Counsel and Advise student athletes with academic and/or personal problems
- Provides guidance and encouragement to help students profit from their participation
- Maintain compliance of North Cross School and the Virginia Independent School Athletic Association rules, regulations, and policies that pertain to athletic program.
-Promotes a favorable image of North Cross School.
-Organize and maintain proper records, including team statistics
- Be knowledgeable of, monitor, and maintain compliance of applicable health and safety practices
- Develop and implement a comprehensive baseball training program for players of all skill levels.
- Teach proper techniques for hitting, pitching, fielding, and base running.
- Organize and lead practice sessions to enhance players' skills and teamwork.
- Plan and coordinate team strategies for games and tournaments.
- Provide constructive feedback to players to improve their performance.
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all players.

Qualifications:
- Must be fingerprinted and have documented results of a clear criminal record.
-Education and experience should demonstrate the ability to preform essential job functions.
- Previous experience in coaching baseball or relevant sports coaching experience is preferred.
- Ability to educate players on sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline.
- Physical ability to demonstrate and throwing, hitting, running and/or other physical activities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire young student-athletes.
-Maintains a valid state licenses with a clean driving record.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: R2 500,00 - R5 500,00 per year
