Vehicle Camera Installation Technician

Job Advert Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable technician to install and maintain vehicle cameras, telematics systems, and aftermarket safety solutions within the automotive industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the correct installation, configuration, and ongoing support of advanced vehicle technologies aimed at enhancing driver safety and fleet efficiency. This role requires hands-on experience with automotive electronics, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Valid Passport will be an advantage.
• Valid Police Clearance.
• Medically Fit to work in the field/mines/construction sites (a medical examination will be performed).
• Able to work out of town/country for longer periods of time.
• Travel overnight and sleep out.
• Be punctual.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Ability to work on a laptop and have basic computer skills.
• Able to manage stock and have good admin skills for stock and consumables management.
• Minimum 5 years proven experience in the same industry with contactable references.
• More than 5 years driving experience.
• Immediately Available.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Able to use power tools.
• The ability to work at heights.
• Work overtime and on weekends when required.
• Work independently and in a team environment.
• Have good knowledge of cars, trucks, LDV, yellow equipment, mining equipment auto electrical, must be comfortable to troubleshoot electrical systems and components fault findings.
