This is a dynamic role that splits time between in-factory preparation and hands-on, high-profile installations on-site across Gauteng and other regions. If you take pride in flawless finishes, enjoy working in a fast-paced team, and have a sharp eye for detail, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Vinyl Application: Flawless application of various vinyl types (monomeric, polymeric, cast, frosted, and pigmented) onto multiple substrates, vehicles, and architectural surfaces.

Wallpaper Installation: Precision alignment and seamless installation of custom wall murals and commercial wallpapers.

Large Signage Installation: Installing diverse signage types, including lightboxes, 3D fabricated lettering, chromadek panels, and directional signage.

Retail Activations: Assisting with the swift setup, rigging, and breakdown of retail displays, exhibition stands, and promotional activation setups.

Quality & Prep: Ensuring surfaces are correctly cleaned and prepared before application, checking prints for defects, and maintaining workshop tools.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of proven, hands-on experience in vinyl application and signage installation (portfolio or references required).

Driver’s License: Must hold a valid, clean South African Driver’s License (Code 8 / Class B minimum; Code 10 is an advantage) as you will be required to drive to client sites.

Technical Skill: Deep understanding of different vinyl properties, stretching techniques, and installation tools (heat guns, squeegees, knifeless tape).

Physical Fitness: Ability to work at heights (scaffolding/ladders) and comfortably handle heavy lifting involved in retail setups.

Attributes: Punctual, neat appearance (client-facing), strong problem-solving skills on-site, and a commitment to zero-bubble, zero-crease standards.

Availability: Must be willing to work occasional overtime or weekends depending on project deadlines and retail mall access hours.
