We are searching for individuals at the start of their working life looking to propel their careers and make an impact in the Fintech, Banking, and Blockchain space. As part of our innovative business, you'll embark on a journey of professional growth, tackling real-world challenges, and shaping the future of Banking. From collaborating with top-tier professionals in this industry to leveraging cutting-edge technologies, this role promises a thrilling adventure filled with learning, creativity, and endless possibilities.

Our Graduate Programme runs for a period of 12 months giving successful graduates the opportunity to become a full time Xapien once the programme has concluded. This role would therefore be a 12 month contract.

Position overview

We're looking for a creative and curious Graduate Visual Designer to join our cross-functional team. You'll work closely with designers, marketers, and product teams to bring the Xapo brand to life — crafting polished marketing assets, fluid motion pieces, and cutting-edge visuals.

This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who has a strong eye for design, a passion for emerging creative tools, and the ambition to grow fast in a remote-first, global environment.

Responsibilities

• Design marketing and brand assets including social media content, campaign visuals, ads, and promotional materials.
• Create motion graphics and animations for digital channels — from social posts to product walkthroughs.
• Produce visuals to support campaigns and content needs, using our library of images (AI and 3D experience is a bonus but not a must).
• Collaborate with marketing and design stakeholders to understand briefs and deliver on them.
• Maintain brand consistency across all outputs, working within and helping evolve our visual identity.
• Iterate quickly based on feedback, balancing quality with turnaround speed.
• Work with world-class designers to evolve our brand visual language.

Skills needed

• A strong portfolio demonstrating visual craft — even if work is personal projects, university work, or freelance.
• Proficiency in Figma for design and layout work.
• Hands-on experience with motion tools such as Rive, Lottie, Principle, or After Effects.
• Experience using Midjourney (or comparable AI image generation tools) to produce creative assets.
• An interest in 3D design — whether through Blender, Spline, or similar.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks across different teams.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.

Nice to have

• 0–1 year of professional experience; internship or freelance work is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere).
• Interest in fintech, crypto, or financial products.
• Basic understanding of design systems and component-based design.
