Job description
1. Job Purpose
- Manage the Stores in compliance with the company policies, procedures, standard operating procedures and the relevant legislation;
- To achieve optimum utilisation through the efficient management, coaching, training and mentoring of staff under their control.
2. Key Result Areas
- Accurate and on time pick of Style, Colour and Quantity to transfer to Reps, Customer and Branches
- Accuracy of Stock Maintenance
- Filing and verification of stock adjustment back to Warehouse of cancelled orders
- Achieving high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
3. Receiving & Dispatching of Stock
- Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely dispatch of goods and materials
- Ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels
- Checking orders, items received, inventory and outbound deliveries for accuracy (Style, Colour & Quantity)
- Ensuring basic housekeeping standards are maintained and compliance with health & safety regulations
- Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse and implement corrective actions where necessary
- Coordinating and maintaining equipment.
4. Stock Maintenance
- Maintaining records, reporting relevant information and preparing necessary documentation
- Ensure that cyclical stock counts are conducted and reported
5. People Management
- Overseeing daily activities of warehouse staff
- Controlling, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity
- Reporting any productivity-, performance- or misconduct issues to the Branch Controller.
6. Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum Matric Level of Education or Equivalent (NQF4)
- A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, or Business Administration would be advantageous.
- Minimum of 3 years Warehouse Administration Experience
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Intermediate Level)
- Thorough knowledge of supply chain principles & controls
- Ability to manage and develop multiple orders (+- 50/60) at any one time
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- High level of integrity and personal resilience
- Leadership skills with the ability to drive and motivate performance through effective team work and interaction with other departments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong listening, presentation and decision-making skills
- Self-starter – ability to work unsupervised, manage own time and activities and those of others
- Meticulous attention to detail and solid organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R12 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
