Warehouse Assistant

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our North West Branch. The successful candidate will support the efficient operation of our parts warehouse by receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching earthmoving machinery parts while ensuring accurate inventory control and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming earthmoving machinery parts and components.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer and workshop orders for dispatch.
• Assist with loading and offloading deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate stock records and participate in regular stock takes.
• Ensure correct storage and identification of parts in the warehouse.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Assist technicians, the workshop, and the sales team with parts requests.
• Report stock shortages, damages, and discrepancies.
• Follow company procedures for inventory control and warehouse operations.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• 2–3 years' experience in a warehouse or stores environment, preferably within the earthmoving, mining, construction, agricultural, or heavy equipment industry.
• Knowledge of earthmoving machinery parts will be highly advantageous.
• Computer literacy with experience using ERP or inventory management systems.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Forklift licence will be advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy parts and equipment safely.
