Warehouse Assistant

We are searching for a meticulously organised warehouse assistant to ensure the safe and fast achievement of delivery-related goals. The warehouse assistant should review supply chain documentation, load and offload the merchandise and/or raw materials, and execute local deliveries. You should also direct cleaning activities.

Key Duties

• Compiling and inspecting shipping-related documentation.
• Unloading incoming shipments and reviewing their contents.
• Packing stock in a neatly organized and secure fashion.
• Preparing outbound shipments ahead of delivery times.
• Driving merchandise to our regional clients.
• Monitoring inventory levels to gauge restocking needs.
• Directing and conducting routine warehouse cleaning tasks.
• Ensuring workers' adherence to stipulated safety-related protocols.

Applicant Requirements:

• Matric or equivalent qualification (NQF 4)
• Demonstrable experience as a warehouse assistant (minimum 2 years).
• Knowledgeable about relevant health, safety, and stock management guidelines.
• Working knowledge and experience of logistical & supply chain techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong numeric ability.
• Excellent customer service orientation
• Meticulous with high level of attention to detail,
• Physically fit.
