Warehouse Assistant

A vacancy exists for a Warehouse Assistant in our Purchasing department.

Main Purpose:

• To offload and rotate stock effectively by means of the forklift.
• To transport goods to and from the warehouse.
• Receiving and issuing of stock and non-stock goods (picking & packing).
• Maintaining the warehouse in a neat and tidy order.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12.
• Computer literate.
• Code B driver's licence with PrDP.
• Valid Forklift Operators Licence.
• A minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience.

A combination of the following skills, knowledge and attributes is required:

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Have a friendly disposition and show keen interest in the work.
• A willingness to work as part of a team is essential.
• A willingness to assist with deliveries and collections when required.

As part of the recruitment and selection process, you may be required to complete a psychometric assessment.
