Warehouse Coordinator

Role Overview

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including the receiving, storage, inventory management, dispatch, and systematic transfer of goods. The role ensures that stock movements are accurately recorded, inventory levels are maintained, and customer and operational requirements are met efficiently. The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for enforcing company policies, health and safety standards, and service-level agreements while driving operational excellence, productivity, and continuous improvement within the warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of stock movements and transactions on ERP/WMS systems.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely flow of goods.
• Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock reconciliations.
• Supervise and support warehouse staff to achieve productivity targets.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards in all warehouse activities
• Prepare regular warehouse reports

Desired Skills and Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• National Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehouse Management
• Not required, but registration with professional logistics bodies (e.g. SAPICS) is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Experience in warehouse or logistics coordination, minimum 3–5 years
• Inventory Control, minimum 3–5 years
• Order processing, minimum 3–5 years
• Team Supervision, minimum 3–5 years
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control, and distribution processes
• Familiarity with South African labour laws and OHS regulations
