Join Our Team as Warehouse, Fleet & Inventory Coordinator We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse, Fleet & Inventory Coordinator to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, inventory management, fleet administration, and compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring efficient dispatch processes, optimizing warehouse performance, managing company fleet requirements, and developing warehouse staff through effective training and leadership.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring reliable, cost-effective operational support while maintaining the highest standards of safety, service delivery, and stock control.
What You'll Be Cooking Up Inventory Management & Control
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels through regular cycle counts and reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies promptly.
- Monitor stock movements and ensure all transactions are accurately captured.
- Implement and maintain robust inventory control procedures to prevent stock loss.
- Optimize warehouse storage utilization and stock location management.
- Coordinate stock takes and support audit requirements.
Warehouse Operations
- Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Ensure picking and dispatch processes achieve high levels of accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and operational effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse performance and productivity.
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Fleet Management
- Manage all fleet administration and operational requirements.
- Ensure services, maintenance schedules, and vehicle inspections are completed on time.
- Monitor vehicle licensing, insurance, and compliance requirements.
- Manage travel reports, fuel utilization, and vehicle records.
- Coordinate and monitor insurance claims and accident reporting processes.
- Ensure fleet reliability and cost-effectiveness.
Health & Safety Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety throughout the warehouse and fleet operations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Ensure warehouse staff follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- Maintain a safe working environment with minimal incidents and accidents.
Staff Leadership & Development
- Lead, supervise, and motivate warehouse team members.
- Conduct training and onboarding for warehouse systems, SOPs, and safety procedures.
- Identify training needs and implement development initiatives.
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Monitor warehouse KPIs and performance metrics.
- Upload and manage supplier invoices and quotations accurately and timeously.
- Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation.
- Support procurement and operational administration activities as required.
What You Bring To The Table
- Diploma or Advanced Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, Procurement, or related field.
- 4–6 years' experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory, or supply chain operations.
- Proven experience managing teams and improving operational performance.
- Experience in QSR, FMCG, Retail, or Distribution environments advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Infraspeak (or similar systems).
- Strong inventory control, reporting, fleet, and warehouse management knowledge.
- Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.
- Valid Driver's License.
