Warehouse Manager

Aerontec is looking for an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to join our Johannesburg team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the warehouse, ensuring efficient stock control, accurate picking and dispatch, effective team coordination and a high standard of customer service.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, detail-oriented and able to lead a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage daily warehouse operations, workflow and team priorities.

· Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of stock.

· Ensure customer orders are picked and packed accurately and dispatched on time.

· Maintain accurate stock levels, records and inventory controls.

· Conduct stock checks and investigate discrepancies, shortages or damaged stock.

· Coordinate inter-warehouse stock transfers between branches.

· Monitor stock levels and communicate re-order requirements.

· Lead, allocate and coordinate the warehouse team, ensuring duties and priorities are clearly communicated.

· Ensure employees follow company procedures, PPE and health & safety requirements.

· Maintain a clean, organised and efficient warehouse.

· Ensure quality checks are completed on incoming and outgoing goods.

· Work closely with other departments to resolve stock, order and delivery-related issues.

· Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and processes.

· Ensure forklifts and warehouse equipment are used and maintained safely.

Requirements

· Grade 12 / Matric.

· 5+ years’ warehouse experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or management role.

· Proven experience managing a warehouse team.

· Strong experience in stock control and inventory management.

· Experience in receiving, picking, packing and dispatch.

· Experience with an ERP or stock management system.

· Experience working with composite materials or specialised materials will be advantageous.
