Job description
Decofurn Furniture is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager / Operations Manager / Warehouse Supervisor to take ownership of our Returns & Repairs operation within a high-volume retail warehouse environment.
This is a hands-on operational leadership role suited to someone who understands warehouse management but has also had significant responsibility for returned, damaged, defective or repairable stock .
You will be responsible for leading the team and ensuring returned products move efficiently through the full process — from return and inspection through to repair, exchange, restocking, B-Stock or disposal .
We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked in retail warehouses, distribution centres, furniture, e-commerce or other high-volume environments where returns, damaged stock, warranty claims or reverse logistics formed a meaningful part of their responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Returns & Repairs warehouse operation and team
- Oversee the end-to-end movement of returned and damaged stock
- Manage product inspection, assessment, repairs and warranty-related processes
- Ensure returned inventory is accurately captured, controlled and reconciled
- Manage stock through repair, exchange, restocking, B-Stock and disposal
- Investigate stock discrepancies, damages and losses
- Maintain strong stock accuracy and inventory controls
- Monitor operational KPIs and turnaround times
- Identify and implement process and SOP improvements
- Manage escalated customer return and product-related issues
- Work closely with stores, warehouse, customer service and other departments
- Ensure the team follows company procedures, controls and safety standards
- Use WMS/ERP and reporting systems to maintain accurate operational information
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse, distribution or retail operations
- Minimum 3 years' experience supervising or managing operational teams
- Strong experience in Returns, Repairs, Reverse Logistics, Damaged Stock, Warranty or Returned Inventory
- Strong inventory and stock control experience
- Experience working in a high-volume operational environment
- Experience with stock investigations, reconciliations and discrepancy resolution
- Proven experience with KPI reporting and process improvement
- WMS, ERP or warehouse systems experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills
- Strong problem-solving, organisational and analytical skills
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to work operationally with a warehouse team

ou should be able to demonstrate that Returns, Repairs, Damaged Stock, Warranty or Reverse Logistics was a meaningful part of your previous responsibilities , rather than only having general warehouse, receiving or dispatch experience.
