Role Outline To support the efficient receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of goods within the warehouse while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity. .Key Tasks/ Accountabilities* Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming goods and materials.

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch in accordance with operational requirements.
• Conduct stock replenishment and ensure stock is stored in designated locations.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Perform stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory checks as required.
• Accurately complete warehouse documentation and system transactions.
• Report stock discrepancies, damaged goods, and operational issues to supervisors.
• Adhere to company health, safety, quality, and security procedures at all times.
• Assist with inventory management and stock control activities.
• Operate warehouse equipment and material handling equipment safely and responsibly.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing warehouse efficiency and productivity.
• Manage and maintain appropriate information/reporting systems, providing the Business with monthly and/or weekly reporting
• Manage time and attendance of staff
• Performance management of staff
• Operate forklifts and reach trucks when required by operational demands.
• Transport goods safely between storage locations, loading bays, and operational areas.
• Perform pre-operational equipment inspections and report defects immediately.
• Ensure safe stacking, storage, and retrieval of warehouse inventory.
• Adhere to all vehicle operating procedures and safety regulations.
• Maintain valid licenses/certification for forklift and/or reach truck operation where applicable.

Functional Experience* 3 years of similar experience/ environment

• WMOS

Education / Qualification / Certification Requirements* Grade 12 / Matric – Essential

• Valid forklift and/or reach truck licence/certification is advantageous
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems

Skills/Competencies* Good understanding of warehouse operations and procedures.

• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Ability to use handheld scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), and related technology.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Forklift and/or reach truck operating skills (where licensed and required).
• Problem-solving and organizational skills
