Purpose of the Position

MCC Label Johannesburg is currently looking for a Warehouse Assistant. The main purpose of this role is to ensure smooth functioning of all warehouse activities under the supervision of the warehouse supervisor working closely with the Production team.

Job Requirements To Succeed in this role, You require

• Grade 12 with Mathematics
• Forklift License
• Driver’s License
• Adaptability
• Self-confident/Respectful/Motivated
• Dependability and Reliability
• Problem solving and Assertive.
• Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer Literate

Minimum Experience Required Strong knowledge of:

• Warehouse processes (2-5 Years)
• equipment, and safety standards (2- 5 years)
• Packaging and Manufacturing Experience(2-5 years)

Responsibilities

• Move inventory and materials across facilities.
• Process inventory for delivery.
• Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location.
• Package items and label correctly.
• Scan delivered items and ensuring quality.
• Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors.
• Stack and organize large bulk items.
• Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and delivery to proper location.
• Update logs and documentation for inventory processing.
• Move materials from production dispatch to warehouse.
• Adherence to PPE rules.
• Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory.
• Ensure safety hazards from aisles are removed.
• Work as an active team member to complete team goals.
