Warehouse Supervisor

The position is accountable for the safe, efficient and cost-effective operation of the warehouse. The role has overall responsibility for stock accuracy and security, people management, warehouse capacity, logistics, quality, health and safety, equipment utilisation and the achievement of operational KPIs. Oversees the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring the safe and efficient receipt, storage, handling, picking and distribution of goods, spare parts, materials and other supplies, ensuring that all items are delivered accurately, on time and without damage.

Responsibilities :

• Strategically manage and supervise the warehouse in compliance with company’s Policies and Procedures
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
• Ensure high levels of stock accuracy by managing the stock control and carrying out the necessary reconciliations to Baan.
• Continuously optimize the layout of the warehouse and ensure efficient space utilization
• Oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, picking and timely dispatch of goods, spare parts, materials and other supplies, ensuring items are handled and delivered without damage.

Education and Experience:

• Diploma in Warehouse Management or Supply Chain Management with 4-5 years of related experience

General Skills:

• Must be able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness Must be able to make sound decisions
• MS Office Package & Knowledge of BAAN System

Pay: R1,00 - R2,00 per month
