Water Use Licence Consultant

We are looking for a Mid/Snr-Level Water Use License Consultant who can facilitate water use authorisation processes, conduct public participation meetings and other stakeholder engagements. The candidate will therefore be responsible for:

1. Compiling and managing Water use license applications

2. Liase with clients, specialists and authorities

3. Compile technical reports and supporting documentation

4. Ensure compliance with applicable water legislation and regulations

5. Compile IWWMP/ WC/WDM Plans

6. RSIP Updating

7. External water use license audits

8. Bio-monitoring

Qualifications/Experience required:

1. Degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Science or similar field.

2. At least 2 years’ experience in environmental consulting.

3. Knowledge of relevant environmental policies/legislation.

4. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

5. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

6. Willingness to travel when required

7. Drivers License
