Job description
GCI Wealth is looking for an experienced Wealth Team Leader – Client Services with a proven track record in leading administration teams within the Financial Services industry.
This is a leadership role for someone who has successfully managed Wealth Administrators, Paraplanners or Client Services teams and has a strong understanding of Wealth Administration, Financial Planning processes and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring high service standards, managing team performance and overseeing the end-to-end client administration journey.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years' experience within the Financial Services industry.
- At least 2–3 years' experience leading a Wealth Administration or Client Services team.
- Strong knowledge of Wealth Management administration, investment products and financial planning processes.
- Proven experience managing workflows, client onboarding, policy implementation and service delivery.
- Sound understanding of FAIS, FICA, POPIA and TCF requirements.
- Experience working with CRM systems such as Xplan and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- RE5, RE1 (or working towards), COB and an NQF 5 qualification in Wealth Management or Financial Planning are highly advantageous.
