Position Overview
Accolades Boutique Venue is seeking a professional, energetic and results-driven Wedding Sales Consultant to join our sales team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing wedding enquiries from the initial enquiry through to the confirmation of the booking. This includes conducting venue viewings, preparing quotations, following up with prospective clients and building strong relationships with bridal couples.
The ideal candidate must have a passion for weddings and events, strong sales abilities, excellent communication skills and the confidence to guide couples through the venue-selection and booking process.
Key Responsibilities
The Wedding Sales Consultant will be responsible for:
- Responding promptly and professionally to wedding enquiries received by telephone, email, social media and other platforms.
- Contacting prospective clients and establishing their wedding requirements, guest numbers, preferred date and budget.
- Conducting professional venue viewings and wedding consultations.
- Presenting the venue’s wedding packages, services, facilities and available options.
- Preparing accurate quotations and tailored wedding proposals.
- Explaining package inclusions, payment terms, venue rules and booking conditions clearly to clients.
- Following up consistently with prospective clients.
- Converting qualified wedding enquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Meeting agreed monthly sales and booking targets.
- Maintaining professional and positive relationships with bridal couples.
- Keeping accurate records of client communication, quotations, follow-ups and booking progress.
- Updating the venue’s customer relationship management and booking systems.
- Ensuring that all booking documentation and signed agreements are completed correctly.
- Collecting the required client information before handing confirmed bookings over to the wedding coordination team.
- Working closely with the wedding coordinators, décor, catering, accounts and operations departments.
- Attending sales meetings, training sessions and venue open days when required.
- Assisting with wedding expos, promotional events and marketing initiatives.
- Maintaining a professional understanding of the venue’s wedding packages, pricing and available services.
- Keeping informed about wedding-industry trends and competitors.
- Carrying out reasonable sales-related duties assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Previous experience in wedding sales, event sales, venue sales, hospitality sales or a similar client-facing position.
- Proven sales and lead-conversion ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Professional telephone, email and client-consultation etiquette.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- The ability to manage multiple enquiries and follow-ups simultaneously.
- Good attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A professional, friendly and confident personality.
- Own reliable transport.
- A valid driver’s licence.
- Availability to work weekends.
- Computer literacy, including email and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience using a customer relationship management system, venue-management system or event-booking platform will be advantageous.

Working Hours
The position will generally operate during the venue’s normal business hours. However, flexibility is required to accommodate client viewings, wedding expos, open days and appointments outside normal working hours.
Saturday work from 08:00 - 13:00 is a requirement.
