Job description

Role Purpose:

Epol is looking for a talented Weighbridge Operator to ensure that all outgoing finished products are weighed correctly.

Required Qualifications:

Grade 12 with Math or Math Literacy
Computer Literate

Required Experience:

1 to 2 years’ experience as a weighbridge operator will be an advantage.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of operating a weigh bridge and completion of applicable documentation (record keeping)
SAP and Excel
Communication Skills
Ability to work under pressure.
Attention to detail

Key responsibilities of the role:

Ensure OTIF deliveries to all farms on daily basis as per delivery schedule.
Weigh, load and complete all particulars.
Data correctly captured
Weigh empty and full vehicle and obtain weigh bridge slip.
Print out weigh bridge slip for driver and relevant paperwork.
Obtain particulars of driver, truck and seal numbers for record purposes.
Weigh full vehicle and complete all particulars on computer system.
Forward copy of weigh bridge slip and sales/dispatch control form to relevant person/farm.
Follow procedure for bulk loading.
Monthly/ Weekly weighbridge calibration
