Weighbridge Operator

WEIGHBRIDGE OPERATOR (GRADING B2)

All applications must include police-certified copies of the applicant's ID and certificates

Qualifying Criteria:

• Grade 10, 11 or Matric certificate
• Additional certification in logistics or operations management is advantageous.
• Previous experience as a Weighbridge Operator or in a similar role (preferred but not essential).
• Strong numerical, record-keeping, and data entry skills.
• Basic computer literacy (experience with weighbridge software is a plus).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recording weights and information.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to weighing operations.
• Flexibility is required and essential (able to work cycle of shifts)
• South African Citizenship
• Clear Criminal Record

Responsibilities:

• Follow up on daily truck orders and audit daily inspection.
• Weighing trucks from entry and exit and ensuring efficient data entry.
• Periodically inspecting the weighing devices to ensure workflow.
• Preparing a report in which the weight and number of trucks loaded for each shift are recorded.
