About S2 Recovery Accelerator

S2 Recovery Accelerator is a new athlete-focused wellness and recovery centre launching in Stellenbosch Central in October 2026.

Our facility provides athletes and active individuals with access to a Traditional Finnish Sauna, Medium-Wave Infrared Sauna, three cold plunges, and recovery trampolines. Our mission is to create a premium recovery environment that helps people perform at their best.

As we launch and grow, we are looking for multiple part-time Front of House Assistants to join the team.

The Role

You will be the first point of contact for our members and guests, helping to create a welcoming and professional experience while supporting the day-to-day operation of the facility.

You will initially work alongside the Site Manager and assist with:

• Welcoming members and guests
• Managing bookings and check-ins
• Monitoring sauna sessions and facility usage
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional environment
• Assisting members with general questions and facility information
• Supporting the ongoing development and testing of our booking systems and operational processes

Working Hours

We are highly flexible and are primarily looking for the right people rather than fixed availability.

The facility's standard operating hours are:

• Monday to Friday: 09:00 – 18:00
• Saturday: 09:00 – 13:00

Additional private bookings may occasionally take place:

• Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 09:00 and 18:00 – 20:00

Successful candidates can expect to work approximately 5–20 hours per week until January 2027.

We are particularly interested in candidates who will be available for some or all of December.

Essential Requirements

• Friendly, professional, and confident with people
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Reliable and proactive
• Comfortable working independently
• Interest in health, wellness, recovery, or sport
• Ability to create a positive customer experience

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, sales, retail, or front-of-house roles
• Interest in technology, systems, or software
• Experience using booking or scheduling platforms
• First Aid certification
• Background in sport, fitness, health, or wellness

Career Progression

This role offers significant growth potential.

Our intention is for one of the successful part-time candidates to progress into a full-time Site Manager position from January 2027. We are looking for individuals who are excited to grow with the business and take on increasing responsibility as the facility expands.

Pay: R50,00 - R100,00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 45.0 per week
