Job description
We are looking for a highly experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum 10 years’ practical experience as a diesel mechanic
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Experience with diesel engines, hydraulic systems and mechanical repairs
Ability to carry out servicing, preventative maintenance and major repairs
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for jobs from diagnosis through to completion
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
A professional and reliable work ethic
Experience working on heavy vehicles, industrial machinery, generators, marine engines or similar diesel-powered equipment will be an advantage.
We are looking for someone who understands diesel machinery thoroughly — not only how to replace parts, but how to identify the cause of a problem and repair it properly.
A competitive remuneration package will be offered based on experience and qualifications.
