This position will support a team locally based in South Africa and Global Teams. Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Word Processor II to provide administrative and document production support to a busy team environment. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, formatting, proofreading, and revising a wide range of business documents while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery. This position supports day-to-day operations by helping teams produce clear, professional, and well-organized materials.
Here is what you will do:
- Prepare, format, edit, and proofread reports, correspondence, manuals, forms, and other business documents.
- Provide document production support for multiple team members and departments.
- Ensure documents meet company standards for formatting, grammar, style, and accuracy.
- Revise documents based on team input and incorporate requested updates promptly.
- Manage multiple assignments at once while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
- Create and maintain templates and standardized formats for recurring documents.
- Support administrative workflows by organizing files and handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Use word processing tools to improve document presentation, clarity, and consistency.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Experience in word processing, administrative support, clerical support, or a similar office-based role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and other word processing software.
- Strong command of English grammar, spelling and business writing conventions.
- Excellent typing, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, prioritize work, and support multiple stakeholders.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
- Post-matric certificate or diploma (NQF Level 5) in administration, document management or equivalent.
