Position Purpose

The Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Trainee Programme aims to provide students and

recent graduates with practical workplace experience, allowing them to apply their

academic knowledge in a real-world environment. This programme is designed to

enhance participants' employability by offering hands-on training, mentorship, and

exposure to industry-specific tasks. The WIL trainee programme is conducted over a

period of 12 months.

Position Outputs

Assist in specific projects within a department or work-stream. • Perform routine operational tasks under supervision. • Support administrative functions, including documentation and reporting. • Participate in training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programs. • Shadow experienced professionals to gain practical insights. • Engage in problem-solving activities to develop analytical skills. • Interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to understand business needs. • Provide regular updates on assigned tasks and project progress. • Serve as a central contact point for queries and assistance. • Conduct market research, data collection, and analysis to support business decisions. • Prepare reports and presentations using MS Office tools. • Assist in process improvement initiatives.Follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. • Ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards. • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all tasks

Qualifications and Experience

Matric certificate. National Diploma: S4-S5 Completed all theoretical coursework in the following disciplines: Civil/Mechanical/ industrial/ Engineering. • Must be a South African citizen. • Age between 18 -35
