Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Equivalent • Desired Education - N2 Trade Theory • 1 - 2 years working experience in the electrical field. • Valid Drivers license with the ability to pass RW's K53 test

Primary Duties

• Complete minor electrical maintenance tasks in plant and workshop • Assist Artisans with technical tasks, e.g Testing of equipment, fault finding • Carry out minor electrical installations. • Repair faulty plugs and lights •Testing and repair of Electrical equipment •Cleaning of electrical equipment •Complete job cards •Minor repairs on LT cables • Complete all required defects and work instructions • Ensure spares and tools are readily available • Report all plant defects that relate to health and safety • Ensure all safety precautions are followed when working with tools and equipment

Knowledge

• Ability to communicate well (both verbally and in writting) • Ability to complete job cards. • Problem solving • Electrical work instruction and procedure
