Job description
Responsibilities
- Oversee yard maintenance and general housekeeping.
- Supervise yard staff and daily operations.
- Monitor building cleaning and wash bay activities.
- Manage site security and report any breaches.
- Perform basic electrical and facility maintenance.
- Report damaged equipment, unsafe areas, incidents, audits, and staffing issues.
- Requirements:
- Grade 12 with 2–3 years’ experience in transport, logistics, or yard operations.
- Proven ability to supervise staff and coordinate daily yard activities.
- Knowledge of fleet, trailers, loading/offloading, parking, and safe equipment operation.
- Strong communication, leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills; first aid or firefighting is advantageous.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Delmas, Mpumalanga: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- yard supervisor: 1 year (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
