 Extract custom reports from the HRIS for HRBPs and site leadership as requested.  

  

Onboarding \&amp; Offboarding Logistics  

 Draft offer letters, employment contracts, remuneration annexures and contract addendums  

using approved templates.  

 Coordinate and keep track of right\-to\-work/visa verifications.  

 Manage Day 1 logistics (IT requests, access badges, ordering of name badges, welcome  

packs) and lead HR orientation sessions.  

 Process resignations, coordinate asset returns, issue exit clearance documentation, and  

schedule exit interviews.  

 Submit IT Requests for New Hires, Transfers and Terminations and update the HRIS  

accordingly

**Vendor Reconciliation**

**KEY DUTIES \& RESPONSIBILITIES:** 




 a)       Financial accounting functions, including but not limited to \-
 



 · Work closely with the group financial manager, group financial director and management to assist with the development of the annual budget to maintain accurate and timely submission of strategic plans. Responsible for the effective preparation, maintenance, and reporting of internal and external financial records and business analyses, including monthly management accounts reporting \-
 



 · To collect, process and record financial information to support management with accurate financial information to assist in their decision\-making processes and to contribute to the correct reporting of financial information in an acceptable format;
 



 · To populate and/or review journals, perform and/or review accounts receivable/accounts payable/general ledger accounts/reconciliations; and
 



 · Liaise with all relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate and complete accounting records from source documentation through to Financial Statements;
 



 · To review monthly invoicing to ensure completeness and accuracy of fee income and allocation of commission and consulting income;
 



 · To calculate and journal the monthly reconciliation of all commission received per consultant/planner and, where applicable, per client;
 



 · To reconcile quarterly administration and consulting income to administration system calculations;
 



 · To manage the month\-end process by processing all necessary journals for review by the group financial manager (including but not limited to – Payroll, VAT, audit journals, prepayments, income received in advance, provision for outstanding income, etc.) in a timeous manner;
 



 · To support the finance department through liaising with other departments, divisions and companies within the group to ensure the accuracy of financial information and intercompany charges;
 



 ·  Monthly review of fixed assets allocated (acquired, disposed of) and managing the fixed assets audit.
 



 · Perform month\-end balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are accurately reconciled and discrepancies are resolved.
 



 ·  This position will include processing on Accpac.
 



 b)       Treasury functions, including but not limited to –
 



 ·   Cash flow analysis and forecasts,
 



 ·   Managing all cashbooks, all call/fixed deposits with respective banks for all companies within the group,
 




 ·  
 
 Maintain relationships with major banks to ensure excellent service delivery as well as to identify new financial products that could assist the business in terms of risk management and profitability
 



 ·  Management of intercompany funding, including compiling intercompany loan agreements a performing Solvency \& Liquidity tests when financial support is provided,
 



 ·  Monitor access controls (online banking) and signatory requirements for bank accounts across the group.
 



 c)        Taxation functions for the group, including but not limited to –
 



 ·  File and pay corporate tax returns for review by the Group Financial Manager,
 



 · Estimate provisional tax and file and pay provisional tax returns for review by the Group Financial Manager,
 



 · Respond to direct and indirect tax queries from SARS,
 



 · Calculation and completion of monthly VAT returns and review of Statement of Account,
 



 ·  Monthly EMP returns and review of Statement of Account,
 



 ·  Dividends Tax returns completion as and when required,
 



 d)       Year\-end Audit
 



 Assist in management of the year\-end external audit requirements/deliverables.
 



 Ensure that financial transactions in the group are recorded in compliance with IFRS.
 



 Assist group companies with technical accounting transactions and year\-end reporting packs.
 



 Review inter\-group transactions and loan accounts.
 



 Tax and cash flow calculations.
 



 e)       Compiling the financial groundwork on special projects and new businesses.
 



 f)       Timely submission of company secretarial duties, including compiling resolutions in line with relative legislation, including – CIPC requirements such as Annual Returns – processing on CIPC and allocate payment.
 



 g)     Other ad hoc duties assigned by the Group Financial Manager and Group Financial Director.

 As a Financial Accountant you’ll be supporting the delivery of accounting for all transactions, reconciliations, and reporting for the Support Silo and related entities. **What You’ll Be Doing**
 As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:
   

  

**Financial Reporting**
* Prepare accurate and timely monthly management reports in line with reporting deadlines.
* Review and ensure that all financial data is correctly posted by product, region, platform, brand, and event name.
* Reconcile gaming data imported into Microsoft Business Central to the Player Activity Report.
* Ensure that all open items relating to gaming vendors and customers are matched, excluding cash‑in and purchase control balances.
* Investigate financial anomalies and unresolved open items promptly and ensure timely resolution.
* Prepare weekly open item reports and actively follow up on long‑outstanding balances.
* Calculate usage fees and rebates and ensure alignment with contractual terms and conditions.
* Accurately post all invoices, accruals, and prepayments.
* Process all intercompany and intergroup billings.
* Run monthly depreciation and foreign exchange processes.
* Proactively resolve queries arising during the reporting cycle.


**Analytical Reporting**
* Ensure that all relevant financial data is appropriately split by product, region, platform, brand, and game, where applicable.
* Prepare monthly income statements and balance sheets with comprehensive and meaningful commentary.
* Analyse performance variances and provide insight into key business drivers.


**Corporate Governance**
* Prepare and coordinate internal and external audit files to ensure completeness and accuracy.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders to collect required audit documentation.
* Communicate with the Manager regarding all audit‑related queries.
* Resolve queries raised by external auditors in a timely and professional manner.


**Tax Management and Compliance**
* Prepare gaming tax and gaming VAT calculations per region.
* Compile all gaming‑related reporting required for annual returns, regulatory submissions, and statutory reporting.
* Reconcile VAT and tax vendor accounts and ensure accurate matching and clearing.
* Ensure that all tax submissions and related payments to authorities are made timeously.
* Submit all tax calculations and supporting schedules for review within agreed timelines.


**Funds and Asset Management**
* Run weekly vendor open item reports and identify items due for payment.
* Request and coordinate payments for approved and due open items.
* Verify cash availability prior to processing payment runs.
* Ensure that supplier and intergroup payments are processed accurately and on time.
* Prepare weekly payment schedules, ensuring correct suppliers and correct payment amounts.


**Systems, Controls, and Governance**
* Assist in drafting and maintaining financial process documentation and standard operating procedures.
* Draft process notes detailing how and why monthly financial tasks are performed.
* Support business continuity and control through consistent and documented processes.


**Financial Team Contribution and KPI Management**
* Work collaboratively with relevant team members to achieve agreed financial KPIs.
* Communicate effectively with the Manager and team members to ensure deliverables are met on time.
* Identify and proactively escalate potential risks or delays.
* Communicate clearly and professionally at all levels, both internally and externally.
* Ensure that critical information and updates are shared appropriately with relevant stakeholders.
* Manage expectations proactively and address potential issues before they escalate.
* Participate in the bi‑annual objective‑setting and performance review process.


**Ad Hoc Responsibilities**
* Perform additional ad hoc duties as required to support the finance function and business objectives.


**Areas of Responsibility**
* Take ownership of all gaming accounting processes and financial reporting for the SPIN brand.
* Be responsible for financial reporting up to Variable Operating Contribution.
