The Head of Treasury is responsible for the strategic leadership and oversight of Omnia Group’s treasury function, ensuring effective liquidity management, funding, financial risk management, and regulatory compliance in South Africa.



The role ensures optimal utilisation of group cash resources, supports business growth through efficient funding structures, and maintains strong governance over foreign exchange, banking, and capital management activities. This includes management of Group Treasury policies, centralised liquidity oversight, and alignment with the Group’s cash management principles.

### **Qualifications**

* Posting general ledger entries that have been reviewed and verified and include supporting information.
* Entering financial data into general ledger accounts on a monthly basis, and preparing reports that support the decision\-making processes of Maisons and Functions.

* Work closely with Maisons and Functions to gather, analyses and interpret financial information and where appropriate provide insights that aid Maisons and Functions decision making.
* Analyze general ledger accounts, calculate accruals in compliance with IFRS and Richemont’s financial policies and procedures, ensuring all entries are booked withing the target dates for reporting.
* Update, review and reconcile general ledger accounts in accordance with Richemont’s Balance Sheet Schedule, identifying and investigating variances and outstanding items.
* Prepare and post entries for prepayments, and accruals working closely with Maisons and the Financial Planning and Analysis team to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
* Support the sales interface, reconciliation and adjustments as per IFRS and Richemont’s financial policies and procedures ensuring that adjustments include supporting documentation.
* Review, check and support the daily interface of wholesale and retail sales in SAP and coordinate with the respective Teams for an issues.
* Keep detailed records and supporting documents for all entries, properly filed in the Finance document storage system.
* Perform vendor statement of accounts reconciliation as required in conjunction with the AP Controller.
* Review open purchase orders and invoices awaiting approval and work closely with the Accounts Payable and Procurement Team to resolve aged items.
* Prepare bank reconciliation schedules, identify and investigate variances for correcting.
* Run depreciation and create fixed assets reports monthly including the CAPEX Management Report. Lease Accounting and Reporting
* Maintain and update lease agreements, working closing with the Richemont Real Estates function to ensure SAP data is correct and in line with IFRS 16 standard
* Perform monthly valuation run and post related adjusting entries and ensure appropriate reporting in BCS
* Coordinate and raise technical issues encountered with the appropriate department SAP ERP Masterdata Management
* Maintenance of vendor workflow data
* Concur administration
* Quarterly Concur profiles review and clean\-up
* Generate Concur accruals and review corporate cards to be blocked or cancelled Audit and Internal Control

The Finance \& Insights Manager is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership, analytical insight, and strong finance business partnering support to the organisation. The role combines financial governance, performance management, and strategic decision support to enable informed decision\-making, drive sustainable business performance, and ensure compliance with statutory and corporate requirements.

**How You’ll Spend Your Day**

* **People Leadership and Capability Development**
	+ Lead, manage, coach, and develop finance team members with a focus on analytical and

	+ Support knowledge sharing, upskilling, and adoption of best\-practice finance methodologies.
* **Financial Leadership and Governance**
	+ Drive finance operations, including month\-end, quarter\-end, and year\-end processes,  
	
	ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting.
	+ Review and approve journals, balance sheet reconciliations, income statements, and  
	
	supporting schedules.
	+ Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and corporate reporting requirements.
	+ Prepare annual financial statements and manage external audit processes, including BEE  
	
	audits where applicable.
	+ Maintain strong internal controls and adherence to group finance policies and accounting  
	
	standards.
* **Strategic Financial Planning and Performance Management**
	+ Lead and support budgeting, forecasting, and long\-range planning processes in alignment  
	
	with business strategy.
	+ Prepare and present quarterly financial results and executive\-level presentations.
	+ Analyze financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods, identifying risks,  
	
	opportunities, and improvement areas.
	+ Provide detailed variance analysis, scenario modelling, and business performance insights to  
	
	senior stakeholders.
* **Business Partnering and Decision Support**
	+ Act as a trusted finance business partner to commercial, operational, and functional leaders.
	+ Provide financial insight, challenge, and recommendations to support strategic initiatives and  
	
	decision\-making.
	+ Support pricing, product profitability, and product P\&L analysis.
	+ Assist senior leadership with ad hoc financial analysis, strategic projects, and corporate  
	
	finance requests.
* **Tax, Statutory and Regulatory Compliance**
	+ Review VAT returns and oversee the preparation and submission of provisional and annual  
	
	tax returns.
	+ Ensure compliance with SARS requirements and manage correspondence and queries.
	+ Oversee statutory filings, including CIPC annual returns.
	+ Support transfer pricing processes, including annual calculations, true\-ups, and  
	
	documentation.
* **Corporate and Group Reporting**  

	+ Review and submit balance sheet and income statement reporting to corporate.
	+ Prepare highlights memos and technical summaries for accounting and tax matters.
	+ Engage with corporate accounting teams on policy interpretation, implementation, and  
	
	compliance matters.
	+ Support internal audits and other corporate reviews as required
* **Systems, Processes and Continuous Improvement**
	+ Maintain and enhance finance systems, including account mapping and version roll\-overs for  
	
	budgeting and forecasting cycles.
	+ Drive process improvements and efficiencies within finance operations and reporting.
	+ Support finance transformation initiatives and analytics enhancements.
**Your Skills and Experience**
------------------------------


* Chartered Accountant (CA(SA))
* Minimum of five (5\) years’ management experience in a finance leadership role.
* Experience in the pharmaceutical industry (advantageous)
* Strong commercial and marketing finance experience.
* Experience in financial analysis, modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
* Experience in month\-end processes and tax reporting within a multinational environment.
* Exposure to transfer pricing in an inventory\-based environment (advantageous).
* Exposure to finance systems such as Sage and Cognos (advantageous).
