**Description:**
 The Handyman ensures a smooth and consistent resolution to maintenance issues logged during a shift and via verbal instructions. Areas of responsibility include: Security, Pools, Grounds, Hotel Rooms and any other area of the Hotel. The role will include general DIY and maintenance including basic carpentry, plumbing, painting and decorating.

To provide holistic patient centered nursing care to oncology patients in order to build capacity for the oncologist.


* To assess, develop, implement and evaluate and record patient care.

* Perform history taking and a physical assessments of oncology patients that are accurate, complete, concise, relevant and appropriate for the clinical problem the patient presents with using the templates in EMR as guideline.
* Monitor, interpret and record patient’s vital data, including height and weight.
* Correctly interprets blood results. Keep patient informed of results as per practice standard.
* Monitor the side effects of patients receiving treatment for their cancer and report any symptoms presented by patients, including pain to the doctor.
* Request appropriate investigations in consultation with the doctor.
* Identifies clinical presentation and risk factors for oncologic emergencies, implements interventions, and facilitates patient learning associated with self\-care strategies.
* Provide telephone support for the management of symptoms related to cancer and cancer treatment
* Arrange for patient to see the doctor if needed. Co\-ordinate scripts with patient and pharmacy.
* Demonstrate knowledge and competence in CVAD access and maintenance.
* Performing nursing procedures as prescribed by the Doctor, e.g. wound care, administration of injections, gynae, FNAB and ascites taps etc.
* To assist admin staff in obtaining relevant historical clinical info of new patients from the referring practice
